Esta se desarrollará bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, siguiendo un método hipotético-deductivo. Se enmarca en el tipo aplicado, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población estará compuesta por 92 pacientes adultos. Para la recolección de datos se harán uso de instrumentos fiables y válidos, uno para medir el autocuidado llamado “Cuestionario sobre las prácticas de autocuidado del paciente con HD” y otro para evaluar la calidad de vida llamado “Cuestionario de CV del paciente con HD”. La información recolectada será sistematizada en Microsoft Excel y posteriormente analizada con el software estadístico SPSS versión 27. Se aplicarán técnicas de estadística descriptiva para caracterizar a la muestra, y se empleará la prueba Rho de Spearman para examinar la relación entre las variables. Los hallazgos obtenidos permitirán generar evidencia útil para orientar decisiones en el ámbito del cuidado enfermero y fortalecer una atención más centrada y personalizada en el paciente que recibe terapia de hemodiálisis.The purpose of this research is to “Determine the link between self-care and quality of life in hemodialysis patients at the San Felipe Clinic, Lima 2025.” It will be conducted using a quantitative approach, following a hypothetical-deductive method. It is classified as applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The population will consist of 92 adult patients. Reliable and valid instruments will be used for data collection, one to measure self care called the “Questionnaire on the self-care practices of HD patients” and another to assess quality of life called the “HD patient QOL questionnaire.” The information collected will be systematized in Microsoft Excel and subsequently analyzed with SPSS statistical software version 27. Descriptive statistical techniques will be applied to characterize the sample, and Spearman's Rho test will be used to examine the relationship between the variables.
