Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational research. The population consists of 60 registered nurses, with the sample being the same 60 nurses. Techniques: The research involves two variables. For the first variable, a survey was used. For the second variable, a checklist was applied. Data collection will take place over one week. After collecting the information through the instrument, data will be entered into the SPSS21 program for analysis.Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas del profesional de enfermería sobre el cuidado del catéter venoso central en pacientes críticos. Metodología: Investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, transversal, y correlacional. La población está constituida por 60 licenciados, siendo la muestra 60 licenciados. Técnicas: La investigación tiene 2 variables. Para la primera variable se utilizó la encuesta. Para la segunda variable se aplicó una lista de cotejo. La recolección de datos se realizará en una semana.
