En el trabajo también se les complica por la falta de tiempo y lugares adecuados (lactarios institucionales) para extraer y guardar la leche durante el horario laboral, se suma a ello el hecho de no contar con una licencia de maternidad remunerada, lo que empeora su situación. La finalidad de este estudio es encontrar la “Relación entre el nivel de Conocimiento y practica sobre lactancia materna exclusiva en madres que acuden a consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo de un hospital público de Huaraz”. El diseño metodológico estará basado en el método hipotético – deductivo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance correlacional. Para la aplicación del estudio se empleará una muestra de 80 madres que acuden al consultorio de CRED. Los instrumentos a utilizar serán el “Cuestionario de conocimiento sobre lactancia materna” y “Guía de observación de la práctica de lactancia materna”, ambas de Castillo (2021), debidamente validadas. Se utilizarán tablas y gráficos para el análisis e interpretación; la hipótesis será contrastada, mediante la prueba de chi cuadrado para determinar si hay relación entre las variables.Currently, mothers struggle to maintain breastfeeding because they lack the support they need at home and at work, and because they lack sufficient information and resources. At work, they are also hampered by a lack of time and adequate facilities (institutional lactation centers) to express and store milk during work hours. Furthermore, the lack of paid maternity leave makes their situation even worse. The purpose of this study is to "find the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers attending the Growth and Development clinic of a public hospital in Huaraz." The methodological design will be based on the hypothetical-deductive method, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational scope. For the implementation of the study, a sample of 80 mothers attending the CRED clinic will be used. The instruments used will be the "Breastfeeding Knowledge Questionnaire" and the "Breastfeeding Practice Observation Guide," both by Castillo (2021), duly validated.
