Para lograr este fin, se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal; asimismo, se empleó a 222 estudiantes de primero a quinto de secundaria de un colegio estatal, seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, y encuestados a través de los instrumentos: Escala de acoso escolar (AE DT) y el Inventario de ansiedad estado-rasgo (STAI). Los hallazgos indicaron que el acoso escolar se correlacionó con la ansiedad estado (rho=0.19; p<0.05) y rasgo (rho=0.37; p<0.05) de manera significativa positiva baja; de igual manera, se identificaron valores de correlación entre 0.13 y 0.30 entre las dimensiones de acoso escolar y la ansiedad, acompañado de niveles de significancia inferiores a 0.05. Se concluyó que, a mayor acoso escolar, los alumnos presentaran una mayor ansiedad.The general objective was to determine the relationship between bullying and anxiety in secondary school students in Carabayllo. To achieve this goal, a quantitative approach was used, basic type, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross-sectional. In addition, 222 students from first to fifth grade of secondary school from a state school were selected through non-probability convenience sampling, and surveyed using the instruments: School Bullying Scale (AE DT) and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). The findings indicated that bullying was correlated with state anxiety (rho = 0.19; p < 0.05) and trait anxiety (rho = 0.37; p < 0.05) in a low positive significance manner; similarly, correlation values between 0.13 and 0.30 were identified between the dimensions of bullying and anxiety, accompanied by levels of significance below 0.05.
