La metodología de la investigación fue hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico y diseño no experimental. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta mediante la recolección de datos con elaboración propia, la cual fue evaluada durante 10 a 15 minutos de manera presencial, fue corroborada por un juicio de tres expertos calificados, asimismo constó de 21 preguntas cerradas con alternativas de respuestas en la escala de likert del 1 al 5 y se utilizó la correlación no paramétrica de Spearman que tuvo en consideración 196 usuarios. En conclusión, existe relación entre el uso tradicional del Zingiber officinale (Jengibre) y su relación en enfermedades respiratorias agudas de los usuarios del Comedor “Niño Jesús” del distrito de Ate Vitarte, obteniendo una correlación positiva moderada.The objective of this investigation is to: Determine the relation between the use of Zingiber officinale (Ginger) and Acute Respiratory Diseases at the Niño Jesús Dining Hall in Ate Vitarte Lima-Perú 2023. The investigation methodology was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative perspective, basic type and non-experimental design. The survey technique was used through data collecting with own elaboration, which was evaluated during 10 to 15 minutes in person, it was corroborated by a judgment of three qualified experts, it also consisted of 21 closed-ended questions with alternative answers on the Likert scale from 1 to 5. The non-parametric Spearman correlation was used, considering 196 users.
