Parenting styles are: authoritative or democratic, where parents establish clear rules and communicate them to their children; permissive, in which they grant wide freedom to their children and avoid imposing rules in their home; and, authoritarian, with incessant desire for power and control on the part of the parents. Objective: Determine the parenting styles of the mothers of school-age children in the community of Mirones Alto. Material and methods: Quantitative, descriptive and observational, cross-sectional study. The population is made up of 789 mothers and the sample was determined to be 137. The main variable will be evaluated through the Robinson Parental Practices Questionnaire adapted by Fernández and Vera, which serves to evaluate the attitudes of parents in raising children. children. Material y métodos: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y observacional, de corte transversal. La población está constituida por 789 madres y la muestra fue determinada en 137. La variable principal será evaluada a través del Cuestionario de Prácticas Parentales de Robinson adaptado por Fernández y Vera, el cual sirve para evaluar las actitudes de los padres en la crianza de los niños.
