Objective: The objective of the present study is to determine the relationship between knowledge in the healing of the central venous catheter and the practice of the nursing professional in the intensive care unit of a National Hospital of Metropolitan Lima, 2023. Methods: The approach of this study is quantitative and it is a non-experimental research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample will consist of 102 nurses who provide their services in the intensive care unit of a National Hospital in Metropolitan Lima. To collect data, an instrument that has been validated and is considered reliable will be used.Introducción: En el entorno de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, el rol del profesional de enfermería asume un papel de alta importancia, abarcando diversas responsabilidades con el objetivo de proporcionar una atención altamente especializada y de calidad a los pacientes en estado crítico.
