Methodology: The study was carried out using the hypothetical deductive method, of a quantitative approach, of an applied type, of a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, and of a correlational level. Results: It wasfound in the resultsthat 65.7% of the participants presented a regular level of stress, 30.6% a low level of stress and 3.7% a high level of stress. Likewise, 58.3% showed a regular level of anxiety, 37% showed a low level of anxiety and 4.6% showed a high level of anxiety. There is a relationship between the physical dimension and anxiety, where the value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05). There is a relationship between the psychological dimension and anxiety, where the result of the value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05). There is a relationship between the social dimension and anxiety, it was found that the result of the value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05). Conclusions: According to the results, it is determined that there is a statistically significant relationship between the variables. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected; In addition, the value of Rho according to Spearman was equal to 0.841, which is why it is determined that the correlation is high positive.Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de estrés y la ansiedad en profesionales de enfermería que trabajan en las áreas de alta complejidad del Hospital Vitarte, Lima – 2023.Material y métodos: El estudio se desarrolló mediante el método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal, y de nivel correlacional. Se encontró en los resultados, que el 65,7% de participantes presentó regular nivel de estrés, el 30,6% bajo nivel de estrés y el 3,7% nivel alto de estrés. Asimismo, el 58,3% evidenció un regular nivel de ansiedad, el 37% evidenció bajo nivel de ansiedad y el 4,6% evidenció alto nivel de ansiedad. Existe relación entre la dimensión física y la ansiedad, donde el valor de p = 0,000 (< 0,05). Existe relación entre la dimensión psicológica y la ansiedad, donde el resultado del valor de p = 0,000 (< 0,05).
