These articles were found in the following databases: PubMed, Scielo, Cochrane, LILACS, and Medline. All articles were evaluated using the GRADE scale to determine their quality and strength of evidence. Results: Of the 10 articles studied, 33.3% (3/10) were systematic review designs, 20% (2/10) were experimental trials, 10% (1/10) were cohort studies, 33.3% (3/10) were experimental studies, and 10% (1/10) were case-control studies. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles evaluated (10/10), 100% demonstrate the effectiveness of using heated gases in patients with artificial airways.Método: La revisión sistemática de los 10 artículos científicos seleccionados sobre la efectividad del uso de gases calentados en pacientes con vía aérea artificial para mantener una temperatura y humedad adecuadas, fueron ubicados en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, Scielo, Cochrane, LILACS y Medline. Todos ellos fueron evaluados según la escala GRADE para determinar su calidad y fuerza de la evidencia. Resultados: De los 10 artículos estudiados, el 33.3% (3/10) corresponden al diseño metodológico de revisiones sistemáticas, el 20% (2/10) a ensayo experimental, el 10% (1/10) a cohorte, el 33.3% (3/10) experimental y el 10% (1/10) caso control.
