Metodológicamente, se consideró un enfoque cuantitativo, hipotético-deductivo con diseño observacional, de alcance correlacional-transversal y de tipo básico. Se encuestó a 101 estudiantes de los ciclos superiores (octavo a décimo) durante el periodo 2023-I. Los resultados del análisis estadístico, que alcanzaron un nivel de significancia del 5% y arrojaron un p-valor de 0.000, permitieron rechazar la Ho, ello evidenció Rho = 0.604, esto es, una correlación (moderada y positiva) entre el conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre la osteonecrosis y su percepción del riesgo asociado. En otras palabras, se demostró que un mayor conocimiento sobre esta condición se traduce en una mayor conciencia y preocupación por los riesgos que implica, y viceversa.The aim of the research was to “Determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about the risk of osteonecrosis of the jaw associated with bisphosphonates in dental students at a university in Lima during 2023”. Methodologically, a quantitative, hypothetico-deductive approach with observational design, correlational-cross-sectional and basic type was considered. A total of 101 students from the upper cycles (eighth to tenth grades) were surveyed during the period 2023-I. The results of the statistical analysis, which reached a significance level of 5% and yielded a p-value of 0.000, allowed us to reject the Ho, which showed Rho = 0.604, that is, a correlation (moderate and positive) between the students' knowledge of osteonecrosis and their perception of the associated risk.
