Objective: to determine the level of nursing knowledge in the care of polytraumatized patients at the Pedro A. López Guillén CMI - Lima, 2020. Materials and methods: the research has a quantitative, applied approach, with a descriptive, cross-sectional design. The population is 30 members of the nursing staff who work at the Pedro A. López Guillén Maternal and Child Center and the instrument is the questionnaire.Esta propuesta investigativa se ha desarrollado dentro de la línea de investigación del Cuidado enfermero en emergencias y desastres y se centra en el nivel de conocimientos que debe tener el personal de enfermería para la atención a pacientes politraumatizados, a fin de brindarles una atención cualificada, humanizada y acorde a sus necesidades, contribuyendo así a reducir probables secuelas o traumas dada su vulnerable situación.
