Este cuidado debe ser especializado y de alta calidad, considerando al recién nacido no solo como una unidad de atención, sino como parte de una diada fundamental: madre e hijo. La hospitalización neonatal, especialmente en una unidad de cuidados intensivos, genera múltiples factores estresantes para las madres y sus familias. Por ello, resulta esencial evaluar la satisfacción derivada de las atenciones. Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona la calidad del cuidado enfermero con la satisfacción de las madres de recién nacidos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un hospital público, Huaral en el 2025. Metodología: Será un estudio aplicado, hipotético-deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, donde no se manipularán las variables, dado mediante un corte transversal, describirá la realidad problemática por ende será de nivel descriptivo; en cuanto a la población y muestra será la misma por factores de conveniencia siendo una totalidad de 70 madres, a quienes se les aplicará cuestionarios previamente validados y con una fuerte confiabilidad. Procesamiento de datos: la información resultante se procesará mediante el SPSS v. 26, para que se expresen en tablas y gráficos del programa Excel. Para finalizar se buscará dar respuesta al objetivo planteado a través de la prueba estadística Rho de Spearman.Introduction: The survival of mankind has always depended on the arrival of new life, which underlines the importance of neonatal care. This care must be specialized and of high quality, considering the newborn not only as a unit of care, but as part of a fundamental dyad: mother and child. Neonatal hospitalization, especially in an intensive care unit, generates multiple stressors for mothers and their families. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate the satisfaction derived from care. Objective: To determine how the quality of nursing care is related to the satisfaction of mothers of newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital, Huaral in 2025. Methodology: It will be an applied, hypothetical-deductive study, with a quantitative approach, where variables will not be manipulated, given by means of a cross-sectional cut, it will describe the problematic reality, therefore it will be descriptive; as for the population and sample, it will be the same due to convenience factors, being a total of 70 mothers, to whom previously validated questionnaires with a strong reliability will be applied. Data processing: the resulting information will be processed by means of SPSS v. 26, to be expressed in tables and graphs in the Excel program.
