Materials and Methods: A quantitative correlational study. The population will be finite and will consist of 80 nurses working in the ICU area of a National Hospital in Lima, 2022. The technique to be used will be observation, and two validated instruments will be applied to collect the information that will answer the proposed hypotheses. Quantitative measurements and statistical analyses will be conducted to determine the predictions or behavior of the phenomena or issues addressed. Throughout the investigation, research conduct will adhere to ethical principles.Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el cuidado de enfermería para la prevención de la neumonía por ventilación mecánica y su relación con la práctica en UCI de un Hospital Nacional, Lima 2022. Materiales y métodos: un estudio cuantitativo correlacional. La población será finita y estará constituida por 80 enfermeros que trabajan el área de UCI de un hospital nacional, de Lima 2022. La técnica a utilizar será la observación y se aplicará 2 instrumentos validados para recolectar la información que dará respuesta a las hipótesis planteadas se harán mediciones cuantitativas y análisis estadísticos para determinar las predicciones o el comportamiento, de los fenómenos o problemas planteados.
