El método de investigación será hipotético – deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicada y diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población estará conformada por todos cuidadores primarios de los pacientes pediátricos que son hospitalizados en el Servicio de Pediatría del HACVP en el periodo de agosto - diciembre 2025., siendo la muestra 81 participantes. Las variables en estudio serán: sobrecarga, que será evaluada con la “escala de Sobrecarga del Cuidador de Zarit” y la ansiedad que se valorará con el instrumento IDARE. En el análisis estadístico se empleará el coeficiente de Spearman, con un nivel de significancia de p < 0,05.The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between caregiver burden and anxiety in primary caregivers of pediatric patients with chronic illnesses at the "Virgen de la Puerta" High Complexity Hospital in 2025.
