These are subjected to a selection using the Grade evaluation system in order to assign the degree of evidence, using the basis LILACS, DECS, SCIELO, COCHRANE, PUBMED, ELSEVIER AND MESH data; for the search in Spanish and English respectively. The selection of articles was carried out using previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Only randomized clinical trials were included in this review. Conclusion: 10/10 of the articles analyzed agree that negative pressure therapy is an effective adjuvant therapeutic modality since it reduces the time of the healing process with a minimum rate of complications, of chronic foot wounds of patients with diabetes. and therefore the decrease in the number and time of hospitalizations and additional surgical interventions, which consequently reduces costs.Material y métodos: Se logra sistematizar los estudios, mediante una revisión de los artículos de investigación internacionales y de la literatura científica existente, se someten estos a una selección haciendo uso del sistema de evaluación Grade para así asignarle el grado de evidencia, utilizando la base de datos LILACS, DECS, SCIELO, COCHRANE, PUBMED, ELSEVIER Y MESH; para la búsqueda en español e inglés respectivamente. La selección de los artículos se realizó mediante la utilización de criterios inclusión y exclusión establecidos previamente. En esta revisión sólo se incluyeron ensayos clínicos aleatorizados.
