El objetivo de este estudio es determinar la influencia de los factores de riesgo asociados a las estas lesiones en pacientes pediátricos críticos. La investigación adopta un enfoque cuantitativo, aplicado y de corte transversal, que permitirá analizar numéricamente la relación entre factores intrínsecos y extrínsecos con la presencia de lesiones cutáneas. La población estará compuesta por 100 pacientes hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos, y se utilizarán instrumentos validados, como guías de observación estructuradas para la recolección sistemática de datos.
