Most of the descriptive studies of medium quality of evidence (100%) have been analyzed. Results: The main risk factors associated with UTI are female sex (50%), presence of urethral catheters (30%), immunosuppressive therapy ( 30%). Conclusions: Urinary tract infection is the infection with the highest incidence in kidney transplant recipients and the risk factors are female sex, presence of urethral catheters, and immunosuppressive therapy.La presente investigación es una Revisión Sistemática observacional y retrospectivo, la búsqueda se ha restringido a artículos con texto completo y los artículos seleccionados se sometieron a una lectura crítica, utilizando el instrumento GRADE para evaluar la calidad metodológica de los estudios incluidos y determinar el grado de la evidencia, se eligieron 10 artículos, encontramos que el 20% de las investigaciones encontradas, corresponden a Brasil, Estados Unidos (20%) y el 60 % a Argentina, Yemen, Pakistán, México, Corea y España. Han sido analizados en su mayoría los estudios descriptivos de calidad de evidencia media (100%) Resultados: Los principales factores de riesgo asociados a la ITU son el sexo femenino (50%), presencia de sondas uretrales (30%), terapia inmunosupresora (30%).
