The sample universe would be made up of 55 nurses, who meet the inclusion criteria. Data collection will be obtained by applying an instrument: a questionnaire to measure the knowledge of nurses on care focused on the development of premature infants, which will be categorized into a high, medium and low level of knowledge according to the score. The data obtained will be systematized and automatically processed in a system, using a statistical analysis through the Chi square test of independence (x2).El proyecto de investigación es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, se realizó durante los meses de Junio – Noviembre 2020, en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un Instituto de Lima, con la finalidad de determinar el nivel de conocimiento de las enfermeras sobre el cuidado centrado en el desarrollo del prematuro hospitalizado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales. El universo muestral estaría constituido por 55 enfermeras, que cumplen con los criterios de inclusión. la recolección de datos se obtendrá mediante la aplicación de un instrumento: un cuestionario para medir el conocimiento de las enfermeras del cuidado centrado en el desarrollo del prematuro, del cual se categorizará en un nivel de conocimiento alto, medio y bajo según la puntuación.
