Los resultados permitirán identificar áreas de mejora y fortalecer la formación práctica en el cuidado de la salud. El objetivo de estudio es “determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la práctica sobre mecánica corporal en el profesional de enfermería en el Hospital Rezola de Cañete – 2026”. Metodología: Estudio de paradigma cuantitativo, con un nivel correlacional bajo un diseño no experimental, orientado a analizar las variables en un único momento. La población estará conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería. Se usará la encuesta mediante dos cuestionarios (uno para la variable conocimiento de Sánchez en Perú, 2025 y otro para mecánica corporal del autor Jaimes en Perú, 2018) que cuentan con validez y confiabilidad. Una vez recolectados los datos, las respuestas serán codificadas y registradas en una data en Excel, para posteriormente ser procesadas mediante el SPSS versión 26.0. El análisis incluirá estadística descriptiva, a través de tablas y gráficos, así como estadística inferencial, aplicándose el coeficiente Rho de Spearman para contrastar las hipótesis.The knowledge and practice of body mechanics is essential in nursing to prevent personal injuries and guarantee patient safety. The results will identify areas for improvement and strengthen practical training in health care. The objective of the study is "to determine the relationship between knowledge and practice on body mechanics in nursing professionals at the Rezola Hospital in Cañete – 2026". Methodology: Quantitative paradigm study, with a correlational level under a non-experimental design, aimed at analyzing the variables at a single time. The population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals. The survey will be used through two questionnaires (one for the variable knowledge of Sánchez in Peru, 2025 and another for body mechanics of the author Jaimes in Peru, 2018) that have validity and reliability. Once the data has been collected, the responses will be coded and recorded in an Excel database, to be later processed using SPSS version 26.0.
