The instrument used was the Barthel test - Functional Independence. The sample consisted of 72 patients of both genders, including ages from 20 to 79 years. SPSS 20 statistical program was used. Our research has a Non-Experimental – Descriptive design, since no variable will be manipulated, the fact will be described as it is, no situation is constructed or created, only the existing one is described.El objetivo fue evaluar el logro de la independencia funcional post tratamiento fisioterapéutico en pacientes con accidente cerebro vascular de tipo hemipléjico .El instrumento que se utilizo fue, el test de Barthel -Independencia Funcional .La muestra consto de 72 pacientes de ambos géneros, entre las edades de 20 a 79 años. Se utilizó programa estadístico SPSS 20.
