This study will adopt a quantitative approach with a methodological, hypothetical-deductive design. It is an applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional study involving 80 nursing staff members working in the Neonatology Service of a public hospital in Huánuco. Instrument I: A questionnaire will be used to measure the level of knowledge among nursing staff about neurodevelopmental care of premature newborns, taking reference from a pre-existing questionnaire. Instrument II: A checklist will be employed to evaluate the nursing staff’s practices related to neurodevelopmental care.Como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y practica del personal de enfermería sobre los cuidados del neurodesarrollo del recién nacido hospitalizado en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital público en Huánuco -2023. Esta investigación tendrá un enfoque cuantitativo con un estudio metodológico, hipotético, deductivo; de tipo aplicado y no experimental, correccional y transversal, en el cual participaran 80 personales de enfermería que laboran en el hospital publico de Huánuco del Servicio de Neonatología. Instrumento i será un cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimiento del personal de enfermería acerca de los cuidados del neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro, se toma como referencia cuestionario creado.
