Se aplicó una metodología de tipo correlacional y en base a un cuestionario de preguntas aplicada a 92 trabajadores de la Municipalidad de San Miguel, se llegaron a las siguientes conclusiones. Se puede determinar que los mecanismos para la institucionalidad influyen en la corrupción de la Municipalidad de San Miguel, durante el año 2018 que mediante la Rho de Spearman se obtuvo un valor de significancia de 0,000 y se acepta la hipótesis general, en dicho caso existe una Relación significativa entre los mecanismos para la institucionalidad y corrupción, cabe resaltar que se obtuvo en la prueba un coeficiente de correlación de - 0,732.In the present investigation entitled "The mechanisms for institutionality and its relationship with corruption in the Municipality of San Miguel, 2018" where the general objective was to determine the way in which the mechanisms for institutionality influence the corruption of the Municipality of San Miguel, during the year 2018. A methodology of correlation type was applied and based on a questionnaire of questions applied to 92 workers of the Municipality of San Miguel, the following conclusions were reached.
