Metodología: El estudio es cuantitativo, longitudinal; el diseño corresponde a pre-experimental con un solo grupo. La población estuvo conformada por 150 madres, en el consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo, se aplicó un cuestionario validado y confiable para medir el proceso de atención antes y después de implementar el registro de enfermería electrónico, posteriormente se evaluó su efectividad. Resultados: antes de la implementación del registro de enfermería electrónico un 51,3% de las madres consideró el proceso de atención como regular y solo un 18% bueno, luego del registro de enfermería electrónico el 60% de las madres lo consideró bueno y el 0% deficiente; de acuerdo a los valores mediante la Prueba de rangos con signo de Wilcoxon tiene un nivel de significancia del 0,000. Conclusiones: La implementación de un registro de enfermería electrónico es efectiva en el proceso de atención a las madres de los niños del consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo.Objective: To determine if the implementation of an electronic nursing registry is effective in the process of care for mothers of children in the growth and development office.
