In this case, a population of 76 patients was considered, who were consulted using the interview as a research technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. The results of the study allowed us to affirm with a significance level of 5% that there is a relationship between coping strategies and adherence to treatment of the patients considered, while the resulting Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was r = 0.540, showing that the correlation is medium and positive. In conclusion, the study allowed corroborating the impact of coping strategies from each of its dimensions: problem-focused, emotion-focused and less functional emotion-focused on adherence to treatment of patients diagnosed with tuberculosis. pulmonary.Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y la adherencia al tratamiento de pacientes con diagnóstico de tuberculosis pulmonar, que asisten a un hospital de Lima durante el año 2022 Metodologia: Estudio deductivo, cuantitativo observacionaly analitico. La muestra estuvo conformada por 75 pacientes con diagnostico de tuberculosis pulmonar, ademas se uso como instrumento el cuestionario Belito-de la Cruz et al. quienes utilizaron como referencia el cuestionario Brief Cope, en su versión abreviada de la escala multidimensional de evaluación de los estilos de afrontamiento (COPE) creado en 1989 por Carver. Y para responder los objetivos e hipotesis se uso la prueba sperman Rho.Resultados: El (52%) de pacientes con diagnostico de tuberculosis pulmonar, fueron de sexo masculino, en comparación con los pacientes del sexo femenino (48%) grado de instrucción primaria 1,3%, secundaria 62,7% y superior 36,0%. Además de 89,3% usa las estrategias centradas en la emoción, 85,3% estrategias centradas en le problema, mientras que un74,7% usa estrategias menos funcional.
