En este contexto, el conocimiento y la actitud preventiva de las madres juegan un papel fundamental en la reducción de la incidencia de estas enfermedades en los escolares. Es por ello que se tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el conocimiento de las enfermedades diarreicas agudas y actitud preventiva en madres de escolares. Métodos: Se llevará a cabo una metodología aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal, con 98 madres de escolares de la Institución Educativa Inicial 172 ubicada en el Callao 2025, que participaran mediante el uso de dos cuestionarios, dichas herramientas muestran fiabilidad y validez acreditadas. Resultados: Se evidenció que aquellas que presentan un conocimiento bajo muestran, en su mayoría, una actitud preventiva mala con un 11,2%. Asimismo, las madres con un nivel de conocimiento medio reflejan principalmente una actitud preventiva regular con un 40,8%. Finalmente, quienes poseen un conocimiento alto destacan por manifestar una actitud preventiva buena con un 20,4%. Según la significancia de 0.000 menor al 0.01 se aprueba la hipótesis general y se rechaza la hipótesis nula, además se presentó un coeficiente de correlación de 0.617 moderado y positivo, con lo cual se concluyó que hay asociación directa entre el conocimiento de las enfermedades diarreicas agudas y actitud preventiva en madres de escolares, con un p valor de 0.000.Acute diarrhoeal diseases (ADDs) represent a leading cause of morbidity in children, especially in areas with limited access to health services and poor hygienic conditions.
