Anemia and alterations in nutritional status are frequent problems during childhood and may affect children’s growth and well-being during the preschool stage. These conditions represent a public health challenge due to their possible effects on child growth. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between anemia levels and nutritional status in preschool children from Juan Raggio Chichizola Kindergarten during 2025. A quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, and crosssectional study was conducted. The evaluation included anthropometric measurements of weight and height to determine nutritional status according to anthropometric reference tables for children under five years of age, as well as capillary hemoglobin testing using a portable hemoglobinometer to identify anemia. Data were processed using SPSS version 26, applying descriptive statistics and Spearman’s Rho test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed the presence of anemia and alterations in nutritional status in the evaluated population. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between the studied variables. It is concluded that anemia and alterations in nutritional status continue to be relevant issues in child health; therefore, it is important to strengthen prevention strategies, nutritional monitoring, and the promotion of healthy eating habits in the preschool population.application/pdfspahttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/AnemiaAnemiaEstado NutricionalNutritional StatusPreescolarChild, PreschoolSalud InfantilChild HealthAsociación entre anemia y condición nutricional en niños preescolares del jardín Juan Raggio Chichizola, Magdalena del Mar - 2025Association between anemia and nutritional status in preschool children at the Juan Raggio Chichizola Kindergarten, Magdalena del Mar, 2025http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1fhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.03.04ODS 2: Hambre cero.
