Quality of care and satisfaction of parents in the neonatology area of a hospital in Junín, 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of parents in the neonatology area of a hospital in Junín, 2023. Methodology: The research has a quantitative approach design, hypothetical-deductive method, applied, nonexperimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The study population will be 80 mothers attended in the neonatology area. The technique to be used for this study will be the survey and the questionnaire as instrument, for both variables, which will be carried out taking into account the study of Gonzales of the year 2023, whose validation test was carried out by means of three expert judgments and whose internal validity with the formula "Pearson's r" 0.70 of value P<m 0. 05 for variable 1 and an internal validity of 89% for variable 2. Likewise, by means of a Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient obtaining a value of 0.72 for variable 1 and Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient = 0.81 for variable 2. The data will be evaluated using statistical programs such as SPSS.25.0, and the results will be presented in the form of tables, graphs and figures. To statistically analyze the association between the two variables, Spearman's Rho will be used.

El presente estudio tiene como Objetivo Determinar la relación entre la calidad de atención y la satisfacción de los padres del área de neonatología de un Hospital de Junín, 2023. Metodología: La investigación tiene un diseño de enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético-deductivo, tipo aplicada, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. Para el estudio se considerará como población 80 madres que sean atendidas en el área de neonatología. La técnica que se usará para este estudio será la encuesta y el cuestionario como instrumento, para ambas variables, los cuales se realizarán tomando en cuenta el estudio de Gonzales del año 2023, cuya prueba de validación se realizó por medio de tres juicios de expertos y cuya validez interna con la formula “r de Pearson” 0,70 de valor P<m 0.05 para la variable 1 y una validez interna de 89% para la variable 2. Asimismo, por medio de un coeficiente de confiabilidad alfa de Cronbach obteniendo un valor de 0,72 para la variable 1 y coeficiente de confiabilidad alfa de Cronbach = 0,81 para la variable 2. Los datos se evaluarán mediante programas estadísticos como SPSS.25.0, y los resultados se presentarán en forma de tablas, gráficos y figuras. Para analizar estadísticamente la asociación entre las dos variables, se empleará la Rho de Spearman.
