Ítem Acceso abierto Lifestyles and overweight among nursing professionals at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-27) Ñacari Ormeño, Keny Eder; Ochante Ccuscco, Anselma Claudia; Millones Gómez, Segundo GermánMaterial and Methods: The following study is a descriptive correlational cross-sectional study. The population consisted of 148 nurses, and the sample was composed of 90 nurses surveyed at the San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital. The instruments used were the healthy lifestyle questionnaire, and for weight excess, weight and height were measured to determine the BMI. Results: Regarding the lifestyle variable, it was found that 78% (70) have an unhealthy lifestyle, followed by 20% (18) with a very unhealthy lifestyle, and 2% (2) with a healthy lifestyle. According to dimensions: physical activity, 64% (58) have an unhealthy lifestyle; eating habits, 91% (82) are unhealthy; recreation, 60% (54) is unhealthy; and finally, the self-care dimension, 48% (43) is unhealthy. For the weight excess variable, 40% (36) had normal weight, followed by 38% (34) overweight, 21% (19) with grade I obesity, and 1% (1) underweight. There is a relationship between lifestyle and weight excess, as shown by the non-parametric statistical test Spearman's Rho, P=0.000. Conclusion: There is a relationship between lifestyle and weight excess among nursing professionals. The majority of nurses have an unhealthy lifestyle and normal weight.Ítem Acceso abierto Patient safety culture of the surgical center of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital, Lima 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-07-04) Ñacari Ormeño, Keny Eder; Bastidas Solis, Miriam CeciliaAim. It will be determined the level of patient safety culture of the surgical center of the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima 2020. Materials and method. The following research work will have a quantitative approach, descriptive type, in terms of the methodological design it is a non-experimental cross-sectional research. The population is made up of 30 nurses and they were selected according to a non-probabilistic sampling because it is a finite population and having the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research, an inclusion criterion is that the Nurses have a work relationship with the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho in the operating and recovery room area. The technique to be used in the research is the survey in which relevant data for the study will be obtained, the data collection instrument "Questionnaire on patient safety in hospitals version 2.0" from AHRQ (Agency for Health and Safety) will be used. Research and Quality) which is made up of 40 questions and one open question which are grouped into 8 dimensions and the vast majority of the questions are formulated for responses on a Likert measurement scale.
