Ítem Acceso abierto Lifestyles and nutritional status in nursing students at the Norbert Wiener Private University of the VIII cycle, Lima, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-26) Abazalo Diaz, Nancy Esmeralda; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaObjective: Determine how lifestyles and nutritional status are related to nursing students at the Norbert Wiener University of the VIII cycle, Lima – Perú, 2024. Materials and methods: The present study had a quantitative approach; its methodological design was correlational transversal. The sample was made up of 148 university nursing students. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments were the Lifestyles and BMI questionnaire. Results: 87.8% are women, 40.5% are aged 25 to 30 years, 33.8% are in normal nutritional status; asymism, 57.4% were overweight; y, 8.8% had obesity, 29.1% had an unhealthy lifestyle, and 70.9% had an unhealthy lifestyle. A relationship was found between food and nutritional status (p<0.05) there was a relationship between activity and exercise and nutritional status (p<0.05); there is a relationship between stress management and nutritional status (p<0.05) is reported; the relationship between support and interpersonal relationships and nutritional status is evident (p<0.05); the relationship between health responsibility and nutritional status was determined (p<0.05); a relationship was found between harmful substances and nutritional status (p<0.05). Conclusions: A significant relationship was found between the main variables of lifestyle and nutritional status.
