Ítem Acceso abierto Humanized nursing care and patient satisfaction in the general medicine service of a national hospital in Lima, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-08-24) Acosta Leyva, Carmen Beatriz; García Díaz, Esther Saturnina; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: Determine the relationship between humanized nursing care and the satisfaction of patients in the General Medicine service treated at a National Hospital in Lima, 2018. Material and Method: The type of research is quantitative, correlational, non-experimental and transversal. . The sample consisted of 147 patients hospitalized in different wards, who were selected with non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire type form with a Likert scale. Results: Regarding humanized nursing care with satisfaction, it was found that 52.4% of patients consider humanized care to be regular. Regarding the dimensions, 46.9% consider themselves moderately satisfied according to the reliability dimension; 32.1% feel satisfied according to the dimension of response capacity; 51% feel dissatisfied according to the security dimension; 57.1% consider themselves satisfied in the empathy dimension; and 51% feel dissatisfied according to tangible aspects. Conclusion: Humanized Nursing Care is not significantly related to the satisfaction of patients in the general medicine service treated at a National Hospital in Lima.
