Ítem Acceso abierto Satisfaction level of caregivers regarding the quality of care in the growth and development control strategy at the Surquillo Health Center(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015) Aira Flores, Ruth Yaqueline; Caycho Ordoñez, Elizabeth Rocío; Cruz Pardo, Luz MaríaThe objective was to determine the level of satisfaction of caregivers regarding the quality of care in the growth and development control strategy (CRED) at the Surquillo Health Center, 2015. The study was descriptive, observational, cross-sectional, and prospective. Materials and Methods: To collect data, the SERVQUAL survey modified for health establishments was used through the Microsoft Excel 2010 program, with the Epi Info application, validated according to RM 52-2011 MINSA. The sample consisted of 84 caregivers from the Surquillo Health Center in the CRED strategy. Data processing was performed using the technical guide software for external user satisfaction evaluation. The data analysis was expressed in percentages for each evaluation criterion of quality. Results: Of the 84 caregivers surveyed at the Surquillo Health Center in the CRED strategy, it was determined that 67.3% were dissatisfied with the quality of care provided at the center, and 32.7% indicated they were satisfied. The satisfaction levels according to the dimensions considered were as follows: the highest satisfaction was found in the safety dimension with 51.2%, but dissatisfaction was observed in the reliability dimension (72.86%), responsiveness (76.19%), empathy (69.5%), and tangibles (67.26%). Conclusions: According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that there is dissatisfaction with the quality of care in the CRED strategy, as perceived by the caregivers.
