For this reason, this study is carried out, in order to determine the relationship between knowledge about biosecurity measures and compliance with the practice of the nursing staff of the surgical center of a private clinic, Lima-2023, since ignorance has been observed in the subject being reflected in the praxis of the nursing staff, that is, in hand washing, in the use of protection barriers, solid or chemical waste management, etc., therefore, it is relevant to assess this situation, more even though no strategies have been implemented that provide or contribute improvements in knowledge of the population regarding biosafety. The methodology to be used will be a quantitative approach, of the type applied with a design: non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional, the sample is of 100 nursing people between technicians and professionals who work in the surgical center of a private clinic, Lima. The technique will be the survey and observation; and the instrument includes a biosafety knowledge questionnaire and an observation list on compliance with biosafety practices; both with a reliability of 0.751 and 0.952 respectively.
