    Stress level and work performance of the nursing professional of the emergency service, of a national hospital, Lima 2023

    Objective: To determine how the level of stress is related to the job performance of nursing staff. Methodology: it is a work framed in the Hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional methodology. The study population is finite, made up of 120 nursing graduates, including both sexes, distributed in the Emergency Department of a National Hospital located in the district of Lima, will have a census sample because it is a small population. The information will be collected through the survey and observation by applying a questionnaire for the level of stress and an observation sheet for work performance. These instruments are valid and reliable since they come from studies already carried out in the context of Peruvian health, likewise the information will be processed in Excel and then analyzed using the SPSS statistical program, applying descriptive and inferential analysis presenting the data in double-checking tables. input and the hypotheses were contrasted with Spearman's Rho Statistical Correlation Test, having a significance level of p < 0.05.
