    Relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing practice on aspiration of secretions in patients in the emergency service of the San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima 2023

    The present research aimed to "Determine what is the relationship between knowledge and practice of nurses on aspiration of secretions of the emergency service of the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho 2023". The study was descriptive and applicative in nature, with quantitatively measured variables and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 40 nursing graduates who work in the emergency unit and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through a questionnaire and observation guide validated by experts. To ensure reliability, a model was used and informed consent was obtained from participants. The results were collected and processed using the SPSS program. This work will provide the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho with valuable and updated information on the aspiration of secretions by nursing staff in the emergency area.
