    Relación entre el afrontamiento de cefaleas y los estilos de vida en adultos mayores de 40 años atendidos en la botica Romado San Juan de Lurigancho 2023

    The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between headache coping and lifestyle in adults over 40 years old treated at Botica Romado, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2023. Methodology: Deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional cut, and correlational level. The sample consisted of 184 older adult patients. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: It was found that 77.2% had a medium level of headache coping, compared to 13.6% with a high level and 9.2% with a low level. Regarding dimensions, behavioral coping showed the highest percentage at the low level (41.8%) compared to cognitive and pharmacological coping. As for lifestyle, 76.1% had a medium-level lifestyle. At the dimensional level, physical activity showed the lowest concentration at the medium level compared to healthy and unhealthy habits, with 34.8% at a high level and 15.2% at a low level.A statistically significant direct relationship was found (rho = 0.547, p = 0.000 < 0.05). Conclusion: A significant direct relationship was determined between headache coping and lifestyle in adults over 40 years old.
