Ítem Acceso abierto Family functionality in high school adolescents of the educational institution 1283 Okinawa de Ate Vitarte, Lima-2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-27) Almora Ochante, Karin Esther; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: Determine family functionality according to dimensions in secondary education adolescents from I.E 1283 Okinawa, Ate Vitarte, Lima 2019. Material and method: It is a study with a quantitative approach, of a descriptive type according to a cross-sectional methodological design. The study worked with the total population, 212 students from a school in Ate Vitarte participated. The technique used was the survey, the instrument used was the FACES IV of family functionality by Olson (1999). Results: Regarding family functionality in its cohesion dimension, they obtained a very connected level 58% (N=123), followed by tangled 25% (N=53), connected 16% (N=33), and somewhat connected 1% (N=3). Family functionality in its flexibility dimension obtained a flexible level in 76% (N=161), followed by very flexible 23% (N=49), chaotic 1% (N=1), and somewhat flexible 1% (N=1). ). Family functionality in its communication dimension obtained a high level 51% (N=108), followed by moderate 20% (N=42), very high 18% (N=38), Low 9% (N=18), and very low 3% (N=6), and finally family functionality in its family satisfaction dimension presented a high level 29% (N=62), followed by moderate 26% (N=55), very high 16% (N=33), low 15% (N=32), and finally very low 14% (N=30). Conclusions: Regarding family functionality according to its dimensions, the one that stood out the most was flexibility, most of it was flexible, followed by very connected cohesion, while communication and family satisfaction were high.
