    Emotional intelligence and job performance of nursing staff from a private clinic, Lima 2022

    Objective: To determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and work performance of the nursing staff of a private clinic, Lima 2022. Methodology: The research is of a hypothetical deductive method, of a quantitative approach, of an applied type, of a cross-sectional non-experimental design, and of scope correlational descriptive. The sample was 83 nursing professionals. The technique was the survey applying the TMMS-24 emotional intelligence questionnaire and job performance; the parametric statistical test of the Pearson correlation coefficient was used to determine the correlation of the variables. Results: A value of (r= .465; p < .000) was determined between emotional intelligence and work performance of the nursing staff of a private clinic, Lima 2022. Conclusions: It was determined that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and work performance of the nursing staff of a private clinic, Lima 2022.
