With the purpose of determining whether or not there is influence in the learning, of the conic sections, with the use of GeoGebra software, a diagnosis was made through the application of a pre-test and post-test. For this purpose, a group of 23 students, randomly selected from a universe of 140 students, was used to implement class environments with GeoGebra and a control group of 23 students with which classes were developed as they were working in a traditional way. The work was done during the first quarter of the year 2014, in which classroom environments were implemented that included activities with GeoGebra software to develop conic concepts. We worked as follows: Introduction to the knowledge and management of software GeoGebra, construction and identification of elements and characteristics of conics using GeoGebra, analytical deduction of concept of conics and their properties. The analysis of the results obtained by the students of the experimental group in the entrance and exit tests in each competition were found significant differences (p <0.05) in favor of the results in the exit test. This is because when using class environments with GeoGebra dynamic software, students can manipulate shapes, deform them, and they maintain the properties that define them, allowing them to infer, experiment, conjecture, discover and generally improve the acquisition of concepts and important results of mathematics.Ítem Acceso abierto Institutional climate and its relationship with teacher performance at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of Callao, 2014(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-06-15) Nieves Barreto, Constantino Miguel; Alzamora de los Godos Urcia, Luis AlexThe general objective of the present research was to determine the relationship between the institutional climate variable and the teacher performance. To determine the relationship between the health personnel's job satisfaction and the quality of care provided to the external user of the Diagnostic Imaging Division in the PNP National Hospital Luis N. Sáenz. Methodology. An explanatory and correlational study was carried out with a quantitative approach. 71 workers and external users of the Diagnostic Imaging Division were surveyed. The health personnel's job satisfaction was evaluated based on “Escala de Opiniones SL-SPC” by Palma (2005), which consists of seven dimensions. The quality of care reported by users was assessed using an instrument drawn from the scale proposed by Torres (2008) and the Quality Management System Document of the Peruvian Ministry of Health (2006), which consists of three dimensions. Descriptive statistics were used to characterize health personnel and external users, and the Pearson Chi square test was used to determine the association between job satisfaction and quality of care. Results. The study did not show a statistically significant association between overall job satisfaction and quality of care (p> 0.05). Conclusion. The health personnel's job satisfaction is not related to the quality of care provided to the external user in the Diagnostic Imaging Division of the PNP National Hospital, Luis N. Sáenz. It is important to implement strategies that improve job satisfaction in these personnel and would also improve the quality of care provided to the external user.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of Effectiveness in Customs Control and Its Relationship with the Detection of Contraband Goods at the Maritime Customs by the Rapid Intervention Customs Operations Group, 2013(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015-10-21) Fernández Castro, Luis Alberto; Arecochea Rodríguez, Rubén; Alzamora de los Godos Urcia, Luis AlexThis research was conducted in order to identify the level of efficiency in customs control and their relation to the detection of smuggled goods in the maritime customs by the Customs Operational Rapid Intervention Group (GOAIR), during the year 2013 The population for this study consisted of 85 officers of the Administration of the Maritime Customs of Callao, the sample was 40 customs officers, being the kind of systematic probability sampling; the technique used was a survey, the instrument being a questionnaire consisting of 50 items validated by expert judgment; The research was basic, the correlational level, also the design was not experimental traverse correlation. Two structured questionnaires were applied: Litwin and Stringer and the General Satisfaction Scale validated by expert judgment. It was found that of the total of the unsatisfied workers 47 percent perceive an adequate work environment, while of the total of those satisfied 100 percent perceive the appropriate organizational climate, as we can see there are highly significant statistical differences (p < 0.001). Job satisfaction is related to some aspects of organizational climate dimensions: structure (organization and assignment of tasks), responsibility (trust for a job well done), reward (highlighting good work), risk (accessibility to new ideas and initiatives) ), interpersonal relationships (environment of friendship and respect), cooperation (teamwork and boss help), identity (predominance of personal interests) and performance standards (show interest in the completion of work). It does not show a significant relationship between the organizational climate in the dimension of conflict management and job satisfaction. In conclusion, there is a direct relationship between the two variables: organizational climate and job satisfaction. The institution presents a moderately adequate work environment and nurses show job satisfaction in 33.3% due to the fact that they feel that: the institution welcomes new ideas and work initiatives (risk dimension), existence of good social relations between heads and subordinates (dimension relations interpersonal), and they can count on their bosses and peers in difficult procedures (cooperation dimension).Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of care provided by obstetric professionals and adherence of pregnant women to their prenatal check-ups at the Acapulco Maternal and Child Health Center – Diresa Callao, 2014(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-01-24) Donayre Muñante, Carmela Teresa; Alzamora de los Godos Urcia, Luis AlexIn the report of the research entitled Quality of Attention of the Obstetrics Professionals and Adherence of the pregnant women to their prenatal control in the Acapulco Health Center – Callao, the objective was to characterize the degree of compliance of pregnant women with their prenatal controls and the limitations related to the care received.
