Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento y uso de formulaciones antisépticas frente al COVID-19 en usuarios de la botica Letidan R & Ch del distrito de Carabayllo, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-06) Amaro Jaco, Diana Luz; Olivera Caballero, Gerti Myrella; Cano Pérez, Carlos AlfredoThe objective of this study was to evaluate the level of knowledge and use of antiseptic formulations for COVID-19 among users of the Letidan R & Ch drugstore in the district of Carabayllo. Methodology: This was a quantitative, deductive, applied, observational, cross-sectional study. The technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire applied to 270 users in person. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and figures. Results: Of the 270 users surveyed, 50.9% showed a regular level of knowledge regarding antiseptic formulations for COVID-19. When analyzing knowledge level by educational background, 35.7% had a regular knowledge level, while 9.9% with a secondary education misused the formulas, and 31.8% with a higher education level used them correctly. Conclusion: A regular knowledge level was found in the majority of the population, at 55.5%. Of the total surveyed, 62.5% made proper use of the formulas. The study also found that 35.7% of those with a regular level of knowledge and education made proper use of the antiseptic formulas, and 37.5% of the population with a higher education level made proper use.
