Ítem Acceso abierto Triage priority levels and waiting time in the care of emergency department patients in a Huánuco hospital, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-11) Amaya Nieto, Sara Mercedes; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To determine the relationship between the triage priority level and the waiting time for emergency patient care in a Huánuco Hospital, 2024. Population: Composed of 215 patients treated in the Emergency Unit of a Hospital in Huánuco. Sample: It will be made up of 139 patients from the emergency department, a simple random non-probabilistic sampling will be used. Methodological design: Applied, hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study. Instruments: For the evaluation of the variable "Triage priority levels" and "Waiting time", an observation sheet modified by Osorio R in 2016 will be used, reliable with KR20 obtaining values of 0.77. The technique we will use to collect the information is observation. Data processing and analysis: We will use descriptive statistics to elaborate frequency tables and graphs, on the other hand, we will apply inferential analysis using the Chi 2 statistical test, which will allow us to verify the hypotheses we have proposed.
