Publicación Acceso abierto Efectividad del test inmunocromatográfico fob - hi rapid test - sangre oculta en heces en la detección de manchas de sangre de origen humano con fines forenses. Ica – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-05-05) Angulo Angulo, Alexander Andre; Montellanos Cabrera, Henry SamObjective: to determine the effectiveness of the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid Test - fecal occult blood in the detection of blood stains of human origin for forensic purposes. Ica - 2022. Materials and methods: the hypothetical-deductive method was used, quantitative approach, applied type, experimental design, the sample consisted of 120 blood stains through a nonprobabilistic sampling by convenience, using human blood, animal and vegetable extract, the technique used is observation and the data collection instrument was an observation guide. Results: by means of the statistical test of the Lambda coefficient and the rho spearman coefficient, the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid Test shows a significant relationship (p= 0.00) in the detection of blood stains of human origin, as well as a sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 100%, positive predictive value of 100%, negative predictive value of 100% and a level of concordance of almost perfect (kappa index of 1.0). Conclusions: the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid test, is effective in the detection of blood stains of human origin for forensic purposes. In addition, because it has a high sensitivity and specificity value, it will not give false positives or false negatives. Because of its high concordance value, this test can be used in the identification of human hemoglobin regardless of the temperature or the environment in which the samples are found.
