Self-care and its relationship with the complications of arterial hypertension in patients who attend the cardiology clinic at a public hospital in Lima, 2023

The general objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between the level of self-care and its relationship with complications of arterial hypertension in patients attending the cardiology office of a public hospital in Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: applied research, non-experimental design, correlational and cross-sectional scope. The population will be 80 patients registered in cardiology consultations. Surveys will be used in the form of questionnaires duly validated and reliable by two works conducted in Peru by Moscoso in 2017 using Cronbach's alpha, whose result is estimated at a value of =0.77 and Rodriguez et al. in 2017. For data processing and analysis, we will go to the pre-licensing coordination will be performed in the cardiology office of a public hospital. Norbert Wiener University will send a cover letter requesting permission to use the research at the institution. After receiving assistance, adult hypertensive patients will be interviewed. Data will be analyzed descriptively and inferentially and those collected data will be sorted or scored with Microsoft Excel 2019, and coding will be performed with SPSS version 24 statistical software. For inferential statistical analysis, Spearman's Rho statistical test will be used.
