Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and practices on anemia prevention in mothers of children under 3 years of age at an EsSalud Center Lurín, Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-14) Apaza Vásquez, Sheilla Daissy; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelIntroduction: The level of knowledge and prevention practices of mothers about anemia in their children is fundamental, which is why the health sector, through nursing professionals, promotes timely and appropriate healthy practices such as counseling, nutritional guidance and the use of posters and campaign posters to prevent anemia. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and anemia prevention practices in mothers of children under 3 years of age in a Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima-2023. Methods: applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional. The sample will be made up of 108 mothers of children under 3 years of age attending the anemia service at a Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima-2023. The technique applied will be the face-to-face survey and the instrument will be two questionnaires: Questionnaire on knowledge of iron deficiency anemia adapted by Romero and Practices to prevent anemia developed by Ramos Galindo, both instruments are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The data collected will be processed in SPSS and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient statistical test given the nature of the study variables.
