    Determine how the level of work overload and professional performance influence the nursing staff in the COVID-19 area of ​​the Chincha Hospital Methodology: The type of research will be applied, the proposed approach is quantitative, and the outlined design will be observational, cross section Population and Sample: The population addressed corresponds to 80 health professionals from the COVID-19 area, for whom the corresponding non-probabilistic sample has been used. The corresponding instruments will be applied to this sample in the period from April 2022. Technique and Instruments: The technique to be applied will be the survey and the instruments to be applied correspond to the work overload and professional performance questionnaire, which are applied exclusively to the population. with health professionals in the COVID-19 area, which have a Cronbach's Alpha reliability equivalent to 0.83 and 0.82 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The data will be recorded in an Excel template for classification and control, being processed, and the existing relationship between the variables treated in the research will be established, and the data will be processed statistically in SPSS to count the study. with qualitative variables.
