Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about biosecurity and practices in the nursing staff who work in the emergency service of the San Bartolomé Hospital Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-10-29) Aquino Rivera, Karen Elizabeth; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelThe objective of this research is to relate the level of knowledge and biosafety practices of the nursing staff of the emergency service of the San Bartolomé 2022 Hospital. The type of research is applied, with a hypothetical-deductive method, with a non-experimental design, with Quantitative, descriptive, correlational, transversal approach. The population that makes up this research is 42 nursing professionals who work in the emergency area of the San Bartolomé 2022 Hospital. The data collection technique that will be used is the survey to measure the level of knowledge about biosafety measures and observation to measure biosafety practices, the instruments to measure variable 1 were taken from the research carried out by Cárdenas and the instrument for variable 2 was taken from the research carried out by Calderón, both were validated by expert judgment, to measure the reliability of the questionnaire, the 20 items were evaluated obtaining a value of 0.81 using KR20, which is considered reliable; For the checklist, reliability was measured by evaluating the 23 items, with a value of 0.673 using Spearman Brown, thus considering it reliable. The data obtained will be emptied into an Excel database, and will be migrated to a SPSS 24.0 program. To test the evaluation hypothesis between the variables, a nonparametric analysis will be carried out through Spearman's R evaluation test.
