    The objective of this study was to establish the relationship of the Coping and Academic Stress strategies of the Faculty of Nursing of the first cycle of a Private University 2019”. “The research methodology was descriptive, with a non-experimental design of correlational cross-section, it was made up of 80 nursing students, The technique used was the survey, and two instruments CRI-A Coping strategies and SISCO academic stress, the data were analyzed in the SPSS program, and the statistical Pearson correlation coefficient through the significance level of 0.05 allowed contrasting hypotheses.” “The results indicated in the descriptive analysis that 57.5% develop medium coping strategies and 28.7% high academic stress. The conclusions have shown the existence of a significant relationship between the coping strategy and academic stress in nursing students p = 0.005 <0.05; also, between the behavioral dimension of coping with academic stress, not finding a relationship with the cognitive component of coping.
