Publicación Acceso abierto Factores estresores y el síndrome de Burnout en enfermeras que laboran en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de adultos en la Clínica Ricardo Palma, 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-30) Aquise Garcia, Susana Janeth; Bonilla Asalde, Cesar AntonioThe study proposed as a general objective: To determine the relationship between stressors and burnout syndrome in Nurses who work in the Adult Intensive Care Unit at the Ricardo Palma Clinic. Material and method. The type of research was applicative, with a correlational level, consigned a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, involving 80 nursing professionals, applying two valid and reliable instruments, the stressors questionnaire developed by Fornes and the Burnout Syndrome inventory developed by Maslash and Jackson. Results: From the evaluation carried out, 35.6% of the participants perceived that the stressors and the burnout syndrome are centered on a medium level, in addition, 41.2% stated that the pressure-demand stressors, 31.2% human relations and 45.5% environmental are linked to burnout syndrome; while 72.5% showed average levels of burnout syndrome, in emotional exhaustion 56.2%, depersonalization 64.0% and low personal fulfillment 41.4%. Conclusion: It has been shown that: There is a direct relationship between stressors and Burnout syndrome in nurses who work in the adult intensive care unit at the Ricardo Palma clinic, 2019; Furthermore, a direct relationship was found between the pressure-demand factors, labor relations, the environment, and the Burnout syndrome with significance values lower than 0.05.
