Ítem Acceso abierto Coping strategies and quality of life in patients of the dialysis unit of the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-03-27) Arias Puma, Yesenia Patricia; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: In my professional practice, especially in the field of nephrology nursing, I have been able to perceive that patients in the dialysis unit go through extremely difficult, complicated and painful processes, a situation that generates great physical and emotional wear and tear and a strong impact that unbalances the various aspects of their lives, due to the limitations that arise, making it necessary to use strategies to assume this new condition and avoid falling into situations of stress or depression that may further harm their situation. However, there are various barriers that complicate patients in the dialysis unit to assume coping strategies that help them improve their quality of life, minimizing the possibility of complications, promoting adherence and prolonging their life. From that perspective, this research seeks to determine the relationship between coping strategies and quality of life in patients of the Dialysis Unit of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, 2021
