Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad de servicio y adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con enfermedad crónica atendidos en la botica Ariasfarma en el distrito de San Miguel, Lima – marzo 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-30) Armijo Abrego, Wilmer Alfredo; Justil Guerrero, Hugo JesúsThe objective of this research was to evaluate the relationship between service quality and therapeutic adherence in patients with chronic diseases who were served at the Ariasfarma drugstore in the San Miguel district, Lima, in March 2021. Methodology: A correlational, cross-sectional-prospective design was used. The sample consisted of 120 patients with chronic diseases (arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemias). Results: Spearman's Rho determined that the p-value was 0.455 (p > 0.05), meaning there is no relationship between the study variables. It was also observed that the majority of patients with chronic diseases were female (59.2%) and in the 54-71 age range (51.7%), with arterial hypertension (41.7%) being the most prevalent disease. Patients rated the service quality as very good (35.8%), good (63.3%), and fair (0.8%). The level of therapeutic adherence was high (60%) and medium (40%). Conclusion: It is concluded that no relationship exists between service quality and therapeutic adherence in patients with chronic diseases who were served at the Ariasfarma drugstore in the San Miguel district, Lima, in March 2021.
