    Level of knowledge about biosafety and practices of nursing staff working in the intensive care unit of a public hospital, Huánuco 2023

    Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about biosafety and the practices of the nursing staff who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital, Huánuco 2023. Materials and methods: This study is observational, correlational, crosssectional, non-experimental design. The cohort consists of 60 professional and technical nurses working in intensive care units. Survey and observation are used for data collection. A 16-item questionnaire will be used to measure levels of knowledge about biosafety and an observation guide will be used to assess biosafety practices. These tools are used with the prior informed consent of the participating collaborators. Results: The collected data are coded, tabulated, entered into an Excel database and exported for processing with the statistical package SPSS version 25. Descriptive statistical correlation analysis is performed using Spearman's rho.
